Prayer for a job

There is power in prayer in the name of our Savior Lord Jesus Christ. We who are saved by the Blood are in the family of God. I am asking my family here to pray for me as I have been out of work for nearly a year now, as many others in our country are. I have been a coal miner/ heavy equipment operator here in WV for over 40 years, and due to the present administration we have in D.C., coal miners all over the country are hurting.

Been doing alot of boolit casting and shooting of late, as it helps keep the sanity. Thankful I have alot of supplies on hand. I surely enjoy the comradery of the CAST BOOLITS site.

I ask for prayer as to work, guidance, and strength in the Lord. And pray for others who have lost income in these troubled times.

I have lost more than one job in my life. As a result I have moved several times to different parts of the country. Each time, I thought it was a tragedy, but have found that ultimately, God blessed me where I ended up. Although I spent more than twenty years in environmental science, I have ended up being a social worker, which is much more suited to me. And I now have a beautiful wife and two grandchildren. God did not promise me that I would be rich, but he did promise that he would be with me to the end.

I've always believed the Lord would give you what he thought you could handle and see what you do with it.
