Todays Monotype and Linotype score

Went scrapping today came across 30lbs of mostly monotype and some linotype for .70 a lb.:drinks:

What is the difference between the two

Linotype is 4-12-84 and monotype is 9-27-64 more/less tin/antimony/lead.

Great find sir. I found some a few months back myself. Now is in sq ingots of 2lb each. Drop it on the floor and it rings like a bell.
