I am mining newer and old 71/2 shot from a old turkey shoot range. we get the dirt and sorta pan the shot out of the dirt. Im getting 4 muffin ingots out of a 5 gal. bucket of dirt

the thing is, when I smelt the shot, it is hard to scoop the dirt and stuff without getting some of the lead with the crud. it does'nt do that when i smelt WW's. it pours different too.

Can someone tell me about what is in shot that makes this smelting different?

thanks

antimony and arsenic.
the arsenic is a surface tensioner in the amounts shot has [that's why they use it] it makes the shot round.

could the arsenic be a problem? can it make me sick or something?
