Is anyone aware of an existing chart that catalogs the numbers stamped on Lyman HP pins and/or hollow base pins (and the molds they are used in)?

If none exists, is it possible that the membership here can post pin numbers along with their Lyman mold numbers to create a list?

(HP pins and hollow base pins show up for sale on various websites from time to time - without the accompanying mold).

The pins are made to fit the individual molds. I believe the code stamping is a daily thing, meant to keep the matched parts together during initial assembly.

They were fitted to the individual mould, however, Lyman kinda stuck to standard sizes for most of their stuff. .156" seems to be common for most of the 358429s, 429421s and 358156s. The bad part is that the depth/length of the pin will vary. You're stuck with having a custom pin/plug made but that's easy for a good machinist./beagle
