Can we start a reference for 22 LR case head stamps?

I'll get it started -please feel free to add those you see that are not listed.

Rem- Remington
"U"- Remington
"F" - Federal
"C" - CCI
" What looks like a Hummingbird" -
Agulia Colibri
"A" -Agulia
" Slanted f "- fiotchii

"X-Super" across it - Winchester.

Also which do you think are the best as far as use for swagging? Weights/cases used to produce your best bullets etc. I just sorted my stash of annealed cases and it seems Rems are used the most here. So my next batch were Rem cases made into 55grs for the Postal shoot.

That sounds like a fine idea.

The "A" is on all of Aguila's standard .22's. The Kolibri and Super Kolibri both have the hummingbird.

I was told the small f or slanted f is old Federal made in the 1980's.

I started this one here a while ago. http://castboolits.gunloads.com/showthread.php?123211-22lr-head-stamp Looks like the link is broken. However there is still some good info and I put in another link. Should I just copy and paste here ?

If the link is broken, is cut and paste.

Just my 2 cents.

Worked for me Joe. Good info. Not sure why folks are requesting sticky status on a newbie question, when normally we reserve threads with tons of usable knowledge for the sticky section.....

It's not a newbie question. It's a recurring question. People would like to know what the letter/symbol means on their brass. A sticky is an easy place to find it.

Nobody reads the stickies.

Sure seems that way sometimes. Would probably explain why the thread I started 2 years ago has about 3 responses that actually helped.

Well, I think for the ones it helped it helped greatly but for most that just looked over it it didn't...I guess what I am saying is threads that are made sticky's normally are super helpful for alot of members not just a key nugget of gold for a few of us that manufacture to the extreme quality some of us do...does that make more sense???

Yea, the lower case, script 'F' is Fiocchi - but only for .22 LR. They don't load any other rimfire ammo.

Fiocchi rimfire ammo, other than .22 LR, will always be in someone else's hulls.
In the past, it was made by Aguila sometimes, but mostly ArmsCor (large outlined "T"); and is now made by CCI (the obvious "C").

ArmsCor .22 WMR (note: that's actually a box of Fiocchi, but I shoot both side-by-side - it's the same load:
