How many of you dropped a tool into the melt? I was melting around 150 lbs of WWs and I felt like returning a funky looking ingot. I was using a pair of channel lock pliers and I dropped them into the melt.
Now I have a nicely sealed set of channel locks. :-(
I don't want to let them sit until the lead melts because of the plastic covered handles. I will attack them tomorrow with a hammer and a screwdriver.
I am now over the 500lb mark for ingots. I plan on a 1000+ inventory, the wife thinks I am nuts.
