Does any of you fellows have any opinions good or bad on the advantage tactical sights. I have recently purchased a para 1911 in 45. the rear sight in the gun is not adjustable and my pet 45 load shoots about 4 inches low at my idpa practice distances. I like the looks of the sight on the photo.

doesn't that just have a blade front sight? If so, just file it down some.

I couldn't tell if those sights are adjustable, either. I've also never seen them before.

the advantage sights actually use a shim that measure .002 each suppose to have a lot of room for adjustment. and as far as the para no it has a front dot and regular blade on the rear.

you can always solder some stock onto the rear sight and file it to shape and height to bring your poi up, while you're waiting to decide.

That's an interesting design they have. I'd want to try it out before dropping that much on sights of an unfamiliar design. On the other hand, they may be great.
