I saw skullmount's old post here during a random search for White Javalina muzzleloading pistols on the web.
Here's a pair of hand cannons to introduce myself. (my first post).
It would be cool to own the whole set, but I only have two of the three - a .410 and .451, lacking of course the .504 caliber.
Here's a pic of the pair.
The .410 is the walnut one and shoots a 410gr NE boolet over 40 gr of T73F.
The .451 is bedded in a rock-hard sugar maple stock and loves shooting the White PowerStar 45/40 sabot with 350-gr buffalo bullet over 55gr of T73F. I only have about 300 of those bullets left, and when they are gone, I will cry. That silver red-dot contraption of a scope got replaced by a proper Leupold 2X long eye relief scope.
Both recoil about 3 times as much as a Ruger Super Redhawk in 44-mag, and are gobs of fun to shoot.
Both will shoot around 1.5-2" groups at 50 yards off sandbags on a very good day.
If anyone has a .504 Javalina for sale, I could be seduced into buying it to complete the set.
A beastly pair
