Mossberg 44 US-Swivel

I can’t get my 1907 leather sling through the Mossberg 44 US-Swivel
The swivel is 1 1/4 inch it hangs up on the brass ends
I think the web sling might work

Can anyone shed some light on this.

I quit using the leather slings and used the web slings in competition for years. They don't look as cool but work as slings much better than the leather ones. Many exceptional shooters and even some who are sponsored, put the leather slings on for show & tell, then switch to the web slings for the actual matches!
