Using IMR 4895 and what cast bullet is good out of one. I have a NOE 5C 311-299 202 GR GC, DC 314299 200 GR GC , 311467 (RCBS 30-180) 180 GR GC; to use for molds.
How hard of lead and what lube , or pan and or powder coat?
Any Pet loads ??
How do they shoot out of the M One ?
Opinion on leading?
Any other opinion on care, place to get a manual, or a copy of manual?
Thanks !!

Teddy,
I have that same Boolit, and want it to become my standard M1 Boolit. I started with around 30 gr. of IMR 4895 and worked up until it functioned, and the bolt stayed open after the last round was fired. That happened at 34.0 gr. I had to quit for the day, but loaded some up at 34.0 and 34.3 gr. of the 4895.
I tested them at 50 yards. I wish I would have fired a few rounds first, to warm up the rifle. After the first shot, the next 4 made a about 3/4 inch group. The 34.3 group opened up some. I have not had a chance to load more of the 34.0 gr. rounds to test, but I am hoping I may have stumbled onto my go to load by pure luck.

Those Boolits were between 10 and 11 BHN, sized to .311 and lubed with White Label 2500+
As far as a manual, I'd recommend that you google up the Lyman Cast Bullet Handbook 4th Edition and order one up.
Good luck, . . . post some results.
Jeff
