I've never been a huge Taurus fan. I've had a M66 that I shot loose in short order. That being said, the LGS has a stainless 6" Taurus 441 that looks nice and timing is good. It passes the revolver check out. I've always been intrigued by the 44special. Smith 44specials are like hens teeth around here. What is the consensus on this older appearing Taurus 441 5shot 44 special?

My 1992 Model 441 has over 15000 rounds of my hand loads thru it. It is such a better gun that my Lew Horton S&W Model 624 went to market. I now have a 6" blue 441 also. I will buy more of them whenever I can.

My 3" Taurus 441 is an early 90s vintage. It's a fun gun to shoot.

I too have one and I think they are much better than what they are putting out today

I have a 3" 431 that lays them (200 gr. RNFP) in there.

Need to find a 429421 load it likes

I find that the Lee 214 gr. SWC works very well in my stainless 441, haven't done a lot with the blued gun. Sure is purdy tho.

I had a titanium Taurus 2 inch if I remember right in 44spl. It had a light blue-purple tint to it. It worked fine for a long time with no issues but I never ran it hard either. I traded it for a ruger p95 and never looked back. They do work and Taurus will fix it or replace it but it takes a good while from what I have heard. Personally I won't get another one since I did wear out a 357 pretty quickly and it took 3 weeks for them to respond to my emails and calls. Heck you can get a single action ruger in 44spl and they are dandy. These are just my opinions so don't take them as law I just don't prefer a Taurus.
