Wow - we had a mild earthquake in SC last night! I was on the phone with someone about 20 miles away, which confirmed that things were shaking somewhere else at the same time. I'm in Laurens, the epicenter was in Edgefield about 60 miles away, magnitude 4.1. We have a fault line that runs through the state, in 1886 Charleston had a magnitude 7 earthquake - many old buildings there have metal tie rods today as a result. This morning, thankfully, no damage to my foundation or chimney!
