View Full Version : Rossi M92 action parts and 1893 Marlin action screws

...........I'm mainly interested in finding out a couple things. One is, are the screw threads Imperial, or metric? I've hunted high an low for parts for the M92's but it appears you're forced to deal with their customer service dept. Specifically I'm needing a hammer screw. Mine is wiped out. Apparently the bottom tang got in the way or something, but whatever. If I knew the thread I could make a screw, but the threaded portion in the side of the action is too thin to get a good read with a thread gauge. In addition, I like to have what I consider consumables on hand, just in case. Like a spare firing pin, mainspring, and ejector spring.

For the Marlin I again looked on the net but didn't see what I remembered as a place that had new made screws. I really don't want to buy used ones from someplace. Putting an old M93 back together and a few of the action screws are boogered.

Any help would be appreciated!

I could take my rifle apart and tKe measurment of screws and parts if you like. I have a Puma 454.
