I tested it with my LEE tester and it read 0.062
Would it be #2 alloy?

Hardness on its own cannot determine alloy constituents. All that is certain is that this alloy is 13.4 BHN.

Lyman #2 would be ~15 BHN

I'm trying to decide what to do with this coffee can full of ingot's. Treat them as a good receipe and use them for boolit's or trade them off to a friend that make's fishing lure's.

If it cast's ok then either cast it and shoot it up , or put it aside and keep it for a "rainy day". I have a small stash of so so alloy that will work in a pinch that will either do time just as it is or get diluted down into batches of range scrap when I am processing it in the spring / summer. Nothing of value goes to waste!

I just might split it up and mix it into my next series of 200lb batch's.

A solid plan.

I'm like Blazer, nothing goes to waste. Odd batches either stand on their own or get blended into much larger batches. Lightman
