Never heard of a rifle by this designation, what more can you tell us about it?
Any pictures?

I remember them advertized in the Rifleman around 1959. They were built on a Norwegian Krag action. If I ever find one I would not hesitate to shoot cast loads out of if.

So they were originally in 6.5 Swedish? Theoretically, .308W reduced loads should be OK, but you don't know if someone else used full power ammo in it already. Personally, I would not shoot it until a very good gunsmith performed crack tests on the bolt and receiver.

The later production Norwegian Krags used pretty good steel, these were always stronger than the U S Krag, but the Norwegian 6.5X55 cartridges were loaded to lower pressures than the Swedish 6.5X55 cartridge.
Norwegian Krags have been built under German control during WW2 in 7.92X57, but apparently not very successful in that chambering.
I ran across a Norwegian website many years ago where they discussed 8mm Mauser hunting rifles built on the Krag action and those familiar with these suggested using only medium pressure ammo.

The late version Norwegian Krag action might well be strong enough for the early 7.62 NATO infantry Ball at 48,000 CUP or less, but I wouldn't try using the heavy special Ball loads at 52,000+CUP and definitely not the maximum pressure Long Range Match loads. At best you would wear the action out at an accelerated rate.

For Cast Boolits at moderate pressures the rifles should be safe as houses. Depending of course on how well the conversions were done.

I'd read this post earlier and passed on answering, I had US Krag on the brain and was thinking how extensively one would have to be modified to feed .308. Then the converted 6.5x55 Norwegian rifles came to mind. Here's an old ad for you.

A bit hard to read so here's what it says:

A handsome dependable carbine with many special features for the discriminating sportsman. Proof tested special BOEHLER steel barrel is round contoured, length 22", with 6 lands and grooves. Fast 5 shot side loading magazine. Silent mauser type safety. Adjustable blade and ramp front sight, open V sporting rear sight. Polished European walnut stock. Monte Carlo cheek piece, pistol grip and recoil pad.

Enjoy with select loads is what I say.

Wild Bill,
.
If you keep your cast loads to the low end of the pressure spectrum, i.e.: reduced cast loads perhaps even with fillers, you should have a life time shooter.
.
I'd start with this thread:

.
How about some photos?

Oh man - that ad page sure takes me back to my childhood!
And those prices!
<
Yeah - but - multiply them times 10 or more to get somewhere close to matching today's dollar value.
After you do the math many of them start to look a lot like today's prices.
Except some are worse than today - I wouldn't pay 800 of today's dollars for a "sporterized" Krag, or 500 for a chopped-up Schmidt-Rubin.
<
Wow - guns were expensive back in 1960...

Poor pics better than no pics. I'll have to keep my eye out for one of those, I love Krags and would prefer one in 30 caliber vs 6.5 as I have a lot more 30 caliber molds to chose from.
