I am trying to sell this for my inlaws. The "book" says it is worth anywhere from $250 to $1,250. The serial number suggests it was made in the 1914 to 1915 range. If we knew the history, I would keep it, but unfortuneately they are not gun people and they just know it was in a box they found after my mother in laws parents had passed away. My mother in laws father was a tanker in WW2, received the purple heart, and some other medals. For all weknow he carried it, but it could have been picked up in a pawn shop.....

It shoots well. it will fail to load once in a while.

They would like to trade it in for a more modern gun. I offered to help, but I do not know how to price it. If you have some knowledge in this area, please let me know.

If you are interested in owning it, Let me know also. We would have to figure out the details if you are not in SC, but I am willing to do it legally.

You should have no trouble selling it locally. It appears that the grips are not original, and the nickle plate isprobably the not factory finish, so the pistol probably isn't worth much. I paid $250 for a reblued one of 1914 production with light salt & pepper bore, which has no collector value, but shoots well.

Neat little pistol. I sent you a pm with some thoughts. ;)

In this neck of the woods it would be a 400-500 dollar gun. The grips detract a bit from the price, and the pictures are not clear enough to give a better evaluation.

Are all of those .32 ACP or were some .380?

The 1903 Pocket Hammerless is the .32 ACP, which is what this one is.

The 1908 Pocket Hammerless is the. 380 ACP, which is less common.

Both are great guns, but the. 32s are easier to find and cost less.

There is a mix of 32 ACP and 380 ACP floating around.

The collectors are saying these are worth $1500. But I don't see any "collectors" buying at that price, just trying to sell. Normal selling is $300 to $500 from what I have found. I am looking for a 32 - but have not had money and one I wanted at the same time. Funny how that works out.
Good luck with the sale!
