I've had a blast casting and powdercoating some bullets. I picked up some WSF the other day (all I can get) and am ready to start loading. Anyone have data, to include OAL that I can try?

There's really nothing in my Lee manual for a starting point for the 105's.

For the 125's, I figure I can start with the 124 lead data of 4.0/4.7 and work up to the 4.7/5.3 it has listed for 124 FMJ at an OAL of 1.095. Is this logic sound?

I might add that I've loaded for rifles for quite some time now, but this will be my 1st pistol venture!

What caliber are you asking about. The 105 gr. is usually used in 380acp and 9mm. But can be used in 38 spl and 357 mags. And the 124 gr. are usually used in the 9mm, but again can be used in any of the other mentioned calibers.
Or are you asking about some other caliber?

The Lee 105 swc is a 38/357 boolit as it has a crimp groove but as mentioned can be used in 380/9mm. Jimbo's question is a good one, what are you going to load them for? Lyman's 4th does list loads for the 105 for 38/357 and you are on track for the 125's. If you are using in 105 in 38/357 I will post it for you if you don't have Lyman's.

I'm sorry, the load is for a 9mm Glock with a Lone Wolf barrel. The bullets are sized to .356, the bore slugs at .355.

I've used WSF for 147 gr 9mm, but have never seen it used on such light bullets before. Hodgdons site is down right now, but I'd suggest you check their site before loading up. This powder always seemed to me to need a heavier bullet to burn properly. I believe there is data for 125 gr though.

Fair enough, but does my logic appear sounds in terms of loading for the 125's?
