Title says it all. I want to buy a set of reloading dies for 6.5x55 Swedish. Any favorite brands.............and why?

I use Lee. Why? Because I own a 6.5x55 Ackley Improved, and the Lee collet neck sizer does a decent job when I reload that caliber. I bought the set that had the full length die and the collet neck sizer.

I have the complete Lee collet set (includes a FL sizer), a RCBS set and a Hornday set. I recommend the Lee complete collet set as you can FL size when needed, NS to the correct neck diameter to give just .002 - .003 neck tension with the Collet die and the seater will seat .266 (maybe even larger) diameter bullets. If using larger diameter I use either a Lee 7x57 seater or the Hornady seater which I have honed to seated larger diameter bullets and to applied a tapered crimp.

I went ahead this morning and ordered the Lee Collet Die set. So now I'm just waiting for everything to come in so I can start on this new journey.

Hornady New Dimension dies will size the case straighter than most, and they have a
floating sleeve boolit seater that is only found in other maker's "benchrest dies sets"
which cost twice as much. VERY good dies.

Recently compared my .308 Benchrest Bonanza sizer to the Hornady ND die. Neck
runout was .001 with the Hornady, .007 with the Bonanza. After sizing all cases with
the Hornady, then loading with 168 MKs - the bullet runout was about .003-.004 (IIRC) and
they shot very well indeed. Straight ammo is good ammo.
