My neighbor just gave me a old 5lb ingot which is marked Wiring Solder which he had for years. The scratch and thump method of checking hardness makes me think it is close to regular wheel weights. Any idea about the hardness range of wiring solder, I'll be using it to cast 100 grain plinkers for 30 caliber rifles and have plenty of pure lead to mix with if needed. Thanks
