south Fla gunsmith whereabouts

Hi all, I wonder if anyone in the broward/dade county area know of a 'smith named Mike Sobin. He used to work on 1911s at the gun shows. He opened a shop in Ft Lauderdale when it became mandatory. I lost touch over the years, and wonder if he is still around?

Been in Broward last 32 years, haven't run into this guy. In fact, i no longer know of any real gunsmiths in the area. I send all my rifle work to Goodsteel; his work is impeccable and he's a great guy to deal with. Roy at Bill Boyd's Gun Range in Fort Lauderdale is a pretty decent pistol and revolver smith: he's always been able to fix any of my handgun problems.
