Does anyone rifle barrels for the 9.5 Turkish Mausers?

I think the last 9.5mm Turk Barrel was made by Mauser in 87...1887...The Turks had contracts with the Mauser brothers that they would receive the newest models whenever they produced them. Mauser started chambering 7.65 Belgians in 88...

I'm not familiar with the 9.5. Is this something that could be bored from an 8mm?

9.5X60r Turk cartridge would probably not be suited to the Mauser action, unless t were the Siamese Mauser action.

The cartridge is said to be the epitomie of black powder cartridge designs, but obsolete from the moment it was first issued.

There are better choices for a large bore Mauser, several 9 and 9.5 mm Mauser hunting cartridges exist.

The Turk cartridge might be a good choice for a single shot long range rifle for cast boolits, especially if competition were limited to black powder loadings.

I wonder how it would stack up against the .40-80 Bottleneck.

I want to replace a barrel.
Typically the 9.5 had about a 9.5mm bore (3/8" diameter) and 9.9mm groove. About like a .38-55 cut way too deep.
