I bought a couple molds & one of them, a lyman 2c 311291ex, has odd markings on it.
The 07 on the bottom left hand corner of the mold body.

And a 7 on the sprue plate.

Normally those numbers would represent assembly #'s on custom orders or hand fitted molds/pins. I've seen those #'s stamped on the mold body & the pins for the hollow point & hollow base molds. But those #'s were never on the sprue plates.
So what is so special about this mold that it has the hand fitted assemblers stamps on it?
