Preassure 357 mag vs 358win

I am ready to chamber a barrel I installed on a 98 mauser. The barrel was originally for 357 mag in a single shot rifle.Star I think. I always intended to chamber it to 35 rem, so no preassure issues. Now with 35 rem brass getting harder to got it would seem more practical to chamber to 358 winchester which I would prefer. For me this is no
preassure problem but I think of some shmuck years from now trying to turn the 358 into a ultra mag!!!! Am I worrying over something I should not worry over?

If the barrel is large enough in diameter to thread and fit on a M98 it is large enough for the .358W. Should not be anything to worry about.

Thanks Larry that is all the confirmation I need. Now to rent the reamer!
