I've never really been interested in a short barreled rifle, the blast from them can be a bit intense. However, the 300BLK is a great little cartridge for an SBR project. I got my Form 1 back from ATF with a wait time of three days shy of one year. Sometimes I really hate how popular Title II stuff is getting:

Nice looking rifle! I have a 9mm AR pistol that I would like to SBR at some point.

Are you planning to feed it with CB's?

Yeppers. It was the 300blk that got me into casting to begin with. If someone from this site had not posted about the NOE 247 over on the quarterbore forum, I may never have started casting.

My story mimics yours, noe 247 on 300blktalk. That and heavy bullets in the 1911.
