Results Of NOE 225 55 Grain FN (MX3-22)

If you have used this mold in a 223 bolt action, please list your results and opinions. I am looking at it for a 1 in 12 twist rifle.

I supplied the sample for Al from my Eagan mold. It works fine in my 1-10 Savages 22-250 @ 1900 and my 1-14 222 when driven hard at 2200 fps.It is tapered and needs to be long seated into the throat.

Harry I'm happy to hear you had it working in a 14 twist 222. Because that's what I wanted it for. Mine is in the mail.
Got to reading some about it dropping over 55 grains so I ran the Green Hill formula on it and came up with a minimum twist of 11.98. Had me wondering if I'd of been better off with the 45 grain BRP bullet. I have the Lyman #225646 already.
