Serial # 55xxx.
The ones on the NET show 2 grip screws

MAB is the manufacturer. It is French. Grips not original.

7.65 should be the .32 Auto, aka 7.65 Browning over there. European 7.65 ammo is usually loaded to higher pressure with a .308-.309 bullet also.

The grips musta been replaced after frenchy dropped it on the ground and ran.

The MAB military semi autos in 32 French Long were also marked with a simple 7.65. We made cases from 30 Carbine or 32 S&W Long, don't remember; had to turn the rim off the 32 Long.

MAB model C with aftermarket grips. They made several versions over the years, yours looks like it is a 1920's model, though I am perplexed by the 1932 markings. It may be a Spanish Pirated model with a fake stamp to delude purchasers into thinking they were buying a premium gun at a discount price. Kind of like those revolvers that were stamped those cartridges which best fitSMITH AND WESSON are the best
