Just how consistent is the Lee micrometer powder measure? I have one and was just curious before I start using it.

If you are talking about the Lee Perfect, it works quite well. Some of the fluffier powders (Alliant Steel etc. Are not too good and some of the corser stick powder is rough also. Most works just fine. within .2 grains for most powders and right on the money for the ball powders. YMMV

No, I'm talking about the micrometer disc measure. I should have been more clear. I agree with your assessment of the perfect powder measure.

ETA: Just realized I posted this in the wrong subforum. Must have been looking at one header and clicked on the other.

Smaller charges can be a pain. I rub a #2 pencil on the inside of the chamber and top. Seems to help reduce variance in charges.

Do you mean the "Lee Adjustable Charge Bar" ?
Mine is terrible for anything less than about 5.5-6gr. At the smallest setting, it doesn't even get powder in it.
I found the Perfect Powder Measure to be much better for 3-4gr pistol loadings.
