I just got my bullet feeder for my Star lube-sizer only to discover that the path through which the bullet is pushed is only about an inch high. I'm looking to size and lube some bullets that are 1.335" in length. Any recommendations? Has anyone modified their bullet feeder to feed long bullets such as large gr. 30's?

Do your lube grooves extend the full 1.33 length? I have yet to see a bullet that does. And no, Loverin bullets don't count, they're two diameter bullets, not one.

I would like to able to use the magma bullet feeder in conjunction with my star/magma lube sizer on these

Try lifting up on the black tube a bit, if that does not work you may have to modify the notch on the black tube to allow the passage of the long boolit.

I think that the tube won't be enough. The slot is only about 1" tall. If you were to notch the tube and the slot it still ejects in line with the punch and will hit that before the nose drops down enough to clear.

I don't think that you can use the feeder on something that tall.

I've seen mop handles shorter than that bullet [smilie=1:
