Wow. That's neat. The only question I can think of is. Does being up wind or down wind make a difference in how long the sound takes to travel back to the microphone?
I can see several ways to improve on this system too. Of course I don't know if any of my ideas would work.
Microphones are almost a dime a dozen on the internet. Even wireless bugging type.
