It is fun, though with short eye relief u would think u are firing a flintlock based on the fireball/blast

It is fun, though with short eye relief u would think u are firing a flintlock based on the fireball/blast One of the reason I see so many of the 222/223's for sale at gun shows is because regular loads with slower burning powder give that nasty muzzle blast and fireball. If you shoot faster powders (Unique, Bullseye, et. al.) and at more moderate velocities (1700-1900), these calibers are a joy to shoot. Have fun. great looking Encore.

put your face about 1" behind the hammer (where I got to put mine), pull trigger, hard to miss. :) unless you are flinch/blinking

^lol, I shoot under a touch of shade! maybe that makes it more clear?
It is pretty bright! I do think I am using too slow of a powder for my bbl length. While impressive it is a bit wasteful. I have to rest one hand on another and then put my chin on that hand as a rest to be close enough to the scope. I seem to recoil a bit more and should load it down more. Maybe at or around speed of sound/ subsonic??Nice truck too!

Stocks are from bullberry along w 1.2" dia barrel. Scope is is 20x
