I had that same problem today, had to work on some remodeling, hanging some new bathroom items and some painting, but once the chores were done, it was time to shoot.

I always have stuff to do around the house. I did construction work starting at the age of 14 and got out of it two years ago. I did many trades and have done a lot of remodel and TI work. I still do stuff here and there, mostly for family, but I still drag my feet on working on my home. I now do equipment repair and sharpening (animal grooming, barber, and beauty industry) with my parents, as we have a family business. The weather was good enough to do more painting on the outside of my house (I was a professional painter and cabinet finisher, and was very good at it) but I decided to do my first lead smelt instead.

Make a realistic list of what needs to be done TODAY - not what needs to be done. Do the things on the today list and the rest of the day is yours to do what you want. This way you get it all done and no guilt.

NO, NO, NO!! Make a list of what I will do TODAY, irrespective of Momma's total list or my total list. They only function to prioritize what goes on my TODAY list. Those other lists are always overwhelming and unending. This puts reality in my TODAY list and provides me time to do something else when it's done. Momma likes it because some of her stuff gets done, I like it because I have some freedom.

I cast until the mold gets to hot then i switch to the one from the top of the pot and take the one from the table and put it on top of the pot.
