Lee molds allow me to experiment at a lower cost than using steel molds obviously. Since Lee doesn't have a mold available in the 147 grain range I thought this might be a suitable substitute.
The other possibility is the Lee 358-150-1r.

Has anyone used either of these boolots in 9mm?
If so what was your opinion?

Thanks for your input.

I've used the 358-158 TLSWC in my 38 super. Shot okay but loaded rounds wouldn't eject easily through the ejection port, so I quit fiddling with it.

Years ago I bought a Lee 90791 (153-2R) made for the .38 Super...shoots well in a 9mm. It is no longer manufactured, sad to say. Perhaps someone will sell one to you. I do like this bullet in the .357 magnum for the Marlin 1894C...however I only shoot it single shot in the carbine.

The Lee 140 is awesome in my .38 Special Ruger Service Six. For 9mm I doubt it will work for you, the shank is too long and bulges the case. I loaded a few out of curiosity and discovered that pretty quick. Now, it may work single shot or in a revolver loaded to a long OAL. FYI the Lee 356-120-TC is an outstanding 9mm boolit. I cast mine from range scrap, pan lube, and load up. My mold drops 'em right at .357 which is perfect, no sizing needed.
