I am looking for a sizing die for an RCBS luber - sizer in .444 . ( I think) :?
I have a Pedersoli Bristlenamorges (muzzle loader) in .44 cal
I have tried to use the hollow based bullets from the Pedersoli mold sized .446 but they are too tight . A hammer is required to beat them down :(
Any suggestions on where to find a custom sizer die would be appreciated

Thanks

I don't know if Lathesmith does RCBS, but for a Star Luber, he can just about make any size, and number of lube rings you need. I do know that he does other custom work as well. I have a couple of his sizing dies, and all I can say is they are top notch and I can recommend them.

Delete, your not in the US so it makes it hard to ship anything out of the US.

Lyman offers sizing dies in .439 & .446. I don't know if the hollowbase bullets sized to .439 would expand enough on firing to fill the bore or not. You could also try finding a different mold, and hope it casts smaller. Perhaps is just an oversized mold that's causing the grief. .444 appears to be an odd size for muzzleloaders.

Ric aka Buckshot at this site. If he'll ship to you you will be very happy with the quality.

Likewise, PM Buckshot. I don't see the problem shipping a machine tool piece??
