Friend has a Garand manufactured by CAI in the 10,000 serial # range.
Came anyone tell me a bout CAI Garands?
Any info would be appreciated....dale

No experience, but I've never heard much good about them. Watch out for welded receivers.

Had one years ago worked fine no problems but some are *** CIA built them which is a **** shoot.

Brother had one that worked fine , many more of the Century Arm International Garands were a headache looking for a person to express itself on . Some of the problems can be traced to worn parts and may be fixable . If there is a problem traceble to the reciever the fix might need to be a reciever from a real Garand .
