I had to go to Amarillo today on business and checked out a reloading supply store that fellow member Malcolm told me about. He had one 1lb. can for $24.50. I relieved him of the burden of it. Thank you Malcolm.

Being as it is being discontinued shortly, it may have collectors value shortly.

That is the reason I've been trying to stock up. Really like it, especially in 45-70.

I found CFE 223 in a LGS in Elk City but have been unable to get over there when he is open. He's open on weekdays only until 6 and work has been too crazy. My DIL works for the hospital there but she is working from 7:00 to 7:00 in the ER. BTW price was $20.50 lb.

The following powders are being discontinued by Hodgdon, SR 4759, SR 4756, SR 7625, and PB. I've seen this list on the CB forum, but I did a search, found it on the CBA forum;

Whats special about SR-4759 is it is little hollow logs. Which makes it bulky for how much energy it puts out. Because it takes up so much room, you don't need a filler to keep the powder in position.

Accurate 5744 has the same hollow log shape so it takes up space while having a fast(er) burn rate.
