Every now and then the subject of the .45 caliber collar button bullet will emerge.
A lightweight plinker for rifle cartridges, the old Lyman design is being (or has been) copied by several mould makers with varying degrees of similarity.

Well, the old Lyman is back.

While looking at the Lyman site today ... for something unrelated ... I saw that they have it listed.

Ya, I saw that at the SHOT show. They are going to bring that one back, and a .382" 38-55 boolit. Those collar buttons might be fun to play with for a little while, but I can't imagine they would be much fun for too long. But people have been wanting them, so now is the chance.

I use a Lee 36 cal BP revolver conical in my 38-55 with 6 grns of Unique.
Shoots real well as a plinker.

When you get some made, will you come back and say what their as-cast diameter is?
