I was very fortunate to get my hands on a MiHec .223 mould from a forum member. This is the 62 grain gas check version. I loaded some up today but won't get to test them for a bit. I am starting with 22.8 grains of Ramshot Tac. These are test loads, so forgive the non-beauty queen appearance.
They are next to other loads, just for comparison.

I've been thinking of trying cast in my 223. Any troubles casting with them little things?

I have the NOE version. They aren't more trouble than any other boolit to cast. Little tricky fitting those GC on correctly since the whole thing is so small but not tough with the Lee push through type die. Joe

Not at all, but the gas checks are a pain to get on straight. I use my Saeco lubesizer to seat them.

You need to polish up your seater die or top punch so it doesn't put a ring on the nose of the bullets.

I always wondered how to do that. Suggestions?
