A sunday at the Range with Kylie and Margaret

We went to the range this week with 115 year old Margaret the Marlin and my 13 year old daughter Kylie. It was a great time, but I think I may have lost Margaret. Kylie shot up all of the 32-20 ammo and had a ball with the old girl. Then Captain Ward from the Sherriff's office came up and let us shoot his sniper rifle that he uses to train recruits. He even gave me some dirt on one Larry Gibson. ;) All in all a really nice day at the range. BTW, Kylie was pretty proud of one of the boards she shot at, 16 rounds. Not bad.

Yep... i Agree, you may well have lost margaret. Looks like she'll be going to good hands tho:wink: Tell Kylie 35shooter said that's good shootin! Good on you for taking the time to take her with you and teach her right.

Yep, good on you. Nothing better to teach responsibility than a day at the range. Looks like you've taught her well.

LOL. other than saying he was once a cop here in La Grande, and a vet, and a civilian in the military, he just said he is the real deal. :)

Gave my daughter a couple of guns before any estate settlements. She is the one that will appreciate them.

Too far away or I would get the 90-100 rounds, of 32/20 have and give it to you so she can shoot.

Sounds to me it is time to teach Kylie the other side of shooting and that is reloading your own ammunition. Great shooting!!
