I've come into a quantity of cast bullets in calibers I don't load for. Many were cast in the 70s and 80s and on most the lube is dried out and cracked.
My question is can I remelt these and cast again? Do I need to remove the lube or can I melt em down as is?
Thanks in advance!

Melt 'em as is.
Edit to say the lube will smoke, so throw a lit match in the pot to prevent that.

Just think of the lube as flux. I've melted several pounds of bullets for different reasons with no problems

I did it with about 1400 125gr commercial 9mm boolits 2 years ago. I loaded them a little hot from an older load book. pulling them greatly distorted most of them, but I saved powder and primed brass.
As stated in the previous posts, it smokes like the dickens!! I cast in the garage so the smoke clears rather quickly though. I wouldn't do it inside even with open windows and fans!!

You have self-fluxing alloy! I do that often. Just make sure you're in a well ventilated area. It's gonna stink! ;-)

I'd keep a box of those kicking around. When you need to flux the pot, just throw in a few of them. it's a nice convenient way of metering out a small amount of fluxing material.
