I have been given some metal that is in strips about 1/4" wide and about 2' long , the donor called it ribbon solder and said that it had a high tin content but did not know the % of the tin content. The donor is in the bsiness of making and installing pipe organs and said this product was used to solder the pipes together.

Is there some place I can send a sample to be tested to find out the tin content?

Two simple tests that won't give you an exact number but will confirm high tin content. Bend one of the strips double and it will make a crinkly noise that is called "tin cry'. The usual melt temp of high tin solder is around 450F give or take a little.

I suspect this is what you have.
