Good Drs visit

As some of you know I have been fighting spindle cell melanoma for over 1 year of treatments. Had a CT scan about 3 weeks ago and every thing looked good. The melanoma is in remission. Last time was 15 years ago. big relief for me. Now to retire in 3 months with a clean bill of health. Thank you all for your positive thoughts. Mark

Congratulations! I too suffer from melanomas and am waiting on results from a biopsy of a suspected lesion any day. I just thank God for each and every day and the blessings of that day and pray for many more tomorrows. Just play the hands dealt.

Bear67, Interferon and surgeries is the way to go. 4 weeks of daily infusions and then Intron shots 3 x a week. Like a shot for diabetes. My surgical oncoligist said 5000 MG of vit D also helps. Big study being done. He deals the most with melanoma between frisco and seattle. The interferon hunts down cells and kills them. I've learned a lot from my DR.
