I'm looking for a new 40 powder and am considering PB. My current go-to is Titeroup. It's just very filthy stuff. I don't mind dirty powders is break open shotguns.....easy to clean. I just don't like cleaning pistols or revolvers that much.

PB will be discontinued this year. Think up another candidate.

PB is good for lots of things, including the .40. If you think Titegroup is dirty, you won't be happy with ANY powder in the .40 except for maybe Universal loaded fairly hot.

Agree^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ with the guy in the funny hat! HA.......ha!

I have tried several powders in 40s' and they all are dirty! Even my commercial FMJ's are dirty. (who knows what crapola the use!). Must be something in the water?!?!?!?!!?

Just pick one (I use TightGroup all the time) and stock up on swabby patches!!!!!!!! I clean my guns every time I shoot anyway! No big whoop to me.

I don't. I currently have over 20 lbs of Titegroup. Being that there is no lesser evil, I guess I'll just stick with it. Thanks for the responses
