Manson Throat Reamer

Has anyone used a Manson Throat Reamer to ream out the throats on their 45 colts? How hard was it and was it worth the cash outlay? Ive got 3 that need reaming. I guess I could just send them off to cylinder smith but Ive had bad luck with mailing gun parts in the past.

Just bought a .44 Manson throat reamer from this forum...
Very easy to use, mine came with the "pilot pack" and it worked out well...left good looking, uniform .431 throats.
Been COLD outside and haven't got to try it out, but since I needed to use the .4280 pilot on 2 throats (.429 bore) I think it'll shoot Boolits much better without leading..
I've got a couple more to do after testing this one.......

I have several Manson Reamers Largest .50/110 , all from Brownell's No complaints .

Thanks for the video, now I wish I had bought the throat reamer for my .45 Colt/Ruger. Live and learn as they say.

There is an old thread that I put up years ago about reaming the throats on a
pair of Ruger cylinders with an inexpensive reamer that I got from MCM, IIRC
it was about $12-15. If you have access to a decent drill press and a v-block
you should be able to make this work yourself.
