"REPOs"? Who's repossessing '76 Winchesters? Are these the old RCMP issue ones? Or is U. S.Customs jumping on imports from the Orient?

.............Ha! Floodgate must have been bored :-). I've lusted after one in 45-60 and have entertained myself several time looking at various pictures of them in the various importer's catalogs.

Here's a tip, stay away from Chaparral Arms. I have yet to see one of their guns that didn't need work, have an oversize bore or worse. I was just up to Doc's and tried his new C/A 76. had to fix the loading gate to get the lever to work. Bore was oversize and the chamber sloppy. Cimmarron is a whole nother story. Top notch all the way.

I "WAS" on the waiting list for a Chaparral in 50-95 from the importer in Nevada . But after a couple months I called and got off the list .

Later kinda thought I had mad a bad decision , but now I see I may have been correct [smilie=1:
