I got my new PID controller from Frozone a couple of weeks ago. I got it out today and cast some bullets. I read the instructions (well done indeed) about three times and realized how simple it was to use. The controller is set for 700 degrees when shipped. I plugged the controller in, plugged the Lee pot to the controller and jury rigged a way to hold the temperature probe into the molten lead.
The unit kept my lead 700 plus or minus five for a two hour session. I am pleased with the unit and look forward to using it. Dealing with Frozone was a pleasure. He answered all my questions and shipped it very promptly.
