Nice lead score a couple of weeks ago

One of our repair crews was working on an 8" bolt on Tee on an old 24" water main last month. I started salivating when I saw the lead joint material. The pieces are around 12" wide, 1/2" thick, not sure if I got the whole approximate six foot circumference or not but the pieces are leaning against a 55 gal poly drum. I figure its at least 150 lbs of hopefully pure lead. The 24" water main was 104 years old, the Tee may have been added later. It does feel pretty soft.

Great score!!! And some day I''l be as lucky as you. Now you can cast some slugs or use it to mix with COWW to make a softer alloy.
