Pure WW in 3020 for deer?

New to this and I have a bout 100 pounds of WW ingots. I use a Lee c309 170 f mold. Question is are pure WW boolits from this mold going about 1800 fps good for whitetails or am I better off mixing 50/50 pb for expansion?

30-20?? Do you mean 30-30? If so, then you are better off mixing 50/50 Pb/ww and water dropping them. You will have a boolit that is less brittle and will expand at those speeds.

Shooting in a Contender? Your at the raggedy edge of velocity for the case and air cooled ww alloy. Water dropped 50/50 and a bigger case will work better for 1800fps.

Assuming the OP meant 30-30 the answer is yes. I shoot air cooled clip-on WW +2% tin at 1900 fps with good accuracy & zero leading.
