Long story short, I sold my Mihec to another member here, but neglected to add the top punch in the box. (At least I noticed before he got the mold...)

I packaged it VERY well, and sent it off in the mail. Didn't show.

I need to buy another top punch, to fulfill my end of the bargain.

Any help is appreciated.

I would look at RCBS or Lyman for a top punch. A phone call to either should get you the answer AND a proper punch. Don't confuse them, just tell them an H&G #68 200 gr swc bullet.

I have a couple of the Mihec moulds for the #68, but I size in my Star lube/sizer and size nose first so a flat punch works for me. However, I have sized a goodly number of those bullets in both RCBS and Lyman sizers with their brand of top punch.

Don't hold me to this but I think it's a Lyman 374 which is what was recommended for the 452488 which was in turn supposed to be a copy of the H&G 68.

I called RCBS today, and the guy there didn't know what and H&G 68 was...

He told me a #460 should work for any 200 swc...

Still looking!

He appears to be correct, Lyman and RCBS use the same number. Another option would be to contact Swede at NOE and see if he has any left. I'm betting he does.

I sent an email into NOE tonight, maybe I'll send Swede a PM.

Get some of Buckshots nose punch kits that you use JB Weld to shape the punch for a perfect fit. I have use JB Weld to modify punches with great results.
