Hello,

I need some 2.5" brass cases/hulls for my 1889 Remington 12ga. Looking to get 8 or 10 to load. Thanks.

You can get a box of 25 from several of the online suppliers. I bought 2 boxes from Graf for about $1 each delivered.

Although they are quite a bit more expensive, I like the Rocky Mountain Cartridge (RMC) company's product. I like them because they use shotgun 209 primers and also they can be reloaded with the regular gauge wads, that is 12 gauge instead of 11 gauge as is required with those that use the small pistol primers. Shooting results are probably the same with either kind of brass case however. It is just your preference. Before you decide I think you should check out RMC's web site. I have no connection with RMC. I'm just a satisfied customer.

You will not harm the gun shooting plastic hulls in it. Just cut down the hull and use the 2.5" load data of your choice. I see no need to buy those expensive brass cases for a 12ga which you virtually can't walk out your door with out stepping on one. Also if you do not wish to reload you can by black powder 2.5" shells from Kent/Gamebore.
