Boy did you come to the right place to ask that question. Unfortunately I am not the walking compendium of information on the Pacific Super Deluxe but there are some guys on this site who dearly love Pacific presses. Considering that Pacific was a pioneer of press development "way back when"
I think you will find it could be older than you think. Working from memory I believe Hornady acquired Pacific prior to 1990 and the Super Deluxe was around for a long time before that. I look forward to reading the answers to your post just like you do.

I have one I bought in 1965. It is listed in the first edition of Handloader's Digest (1962), and subsequent issues until 1970.

The Super Deluxe along with the other Pacific blue color presses (there is an exception) were made between 1960/61 and 1971. This was the time that Deitmeyer was running Pacific. He revamped and in large the line when he bought into the company in 1959.

Can you reverse the stroke on the Pacific super deluxe?
